Business Insurance Solutions traces its roots to owner, manager and Principal Agent, Larry Donohoe. After many years selling life insurance, health benefits, personal lines and commercial insurance packaged with high-level management experience, Larry made a brief attempt at retirement. He found that he could not ignore his passion and knowledge in the world of insurance and opened the doors to his own independent insurance agency in 2006: Business Insurance Solutions.

Assembling a great team of state licensed agents, including his two daughters, Molly and Sara (biographies to follow); Business Insurance Solutions proudly serves the insurance needs of the Lane County & surrounding areas community. Larry is now enjoying semi-retirement. He trusts his experienced, capable staff to handle the daily operation of Business Insurance Solutions while he oversees decisions in his role as the owner manager and Principal Agent.

Sara Donohoe:
Sara was born and raised in the Eugene, OR. Sara was brought up in an insurance household, her mother was a successful insurance agent for Allstate Insurance and her father was a top regional manager for Allstate Insurance. Needless to say, Sara was pretty much meant for a career in the insurance industry. After graduating from Marist High School in 2002 Sara attended Oregon State University. At OSU Sara majored in Psychology and minored in Communications.

After graduating in 2006 with her Bachelors of Science in Psychology Sara moved to California to pursue a career in sales and marketing. After living is Santa Monica, CA for a brief time Sara decided to move back to Oregon to join her father’s new business, Business Insurance Solutions. She quickly earned her insurance license and has been putting her sales, marketing, and customer service skills to good use ever since.

Molly Donohoe Kokkeler
Molly had a very similar upbringing as Sara, given that they are sisters. Molly is the elder of the two by only 15 months. Molly also went to Marist High School (Class of 2001) and then went to Oregon State University. At OSU Molly earned her Bachelors of Science in Political Science and a Minor in Women’s Studies. During college Sara and Molly were both members of Kappa Kappa Gamma where they learned the importance of relationships. Molly began her career within the insurance industry earlier than Sara. Molly is nearing her ten year anniversary working in the insurance industry and has worked in the Business Insurance Solutions office since the very beginning. Molly developed a strong insurance background selling personal lines in the Allstate office and that is where she also had the opportunity to dabble in commercial insurance. Her strong background in personal lines insurance lead her to a very easy transition into selling commercial lines exclusively. She took to business insurance like a “beaver to wood.” In September of 2004 Molly married a local grass seed farmer, John Kokkeler, and has been very happily married ever since.

You might say that the Donohoe sisters were born to sell insurance. Their insurance knowledge has been ingrained in them since they were able to understand what their parents were talking about at the dinner table. As kids they spent much of their free time helping out with the family business, doing things like filing, stuffing and sending mailers to clients, etc. Both sisters are very dedicated to the Business Insurance Solutions agency and every current client, as well as future clients. They pride themselves on personalized service and offering the best business insurance solution to suit their client’s needs!
